Championing Free Roaming Community Cats & Kittens, One at a Time

Catsnip Etc. is a non-profit organization, a 501(c)(3), dedicated to reducing the free-roaming cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) based in Goshen, Indiana. We serve all of Elkhart County (Indiana, USA) and we understand how important a free-roaming cat colony is to our community.

OUR MISSION
Catsnip Etc. humanely addresses the problem of cat overpopulation through TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return), adoption and barn relocation. We are committed to improving the quality of life for homeless cats and kittens by promoting community awareness, education, and participation.

OUR METHOD
We use special traps designed to humanely trap cats/kittens. We immediately cover the trap to help reduce the cat’s stress level during travel to and from the vet. Our trained volunteers are knowledgeable and understand how best to help caretakers be successful with their colonies.

Our goal is educate and mentor the public and colony caretakers in the TNR process and provide a network of resources, including veterinarians who provide low cost Spay / Neuter programs, which will reduce and stabilize the free-roaming cat population.

Our Programs

Adoptions

We have a wonderful variety of cats and kittens available for adoption, fostering, or sponsorship.

Barn Program

We help find placements for barn cats who are neutered/spayed, and looking for a place to stay and help keep rodents at bay.

TNR

TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is a proven, long-term method of reducing the number of free-roaming cats in a community.
