Nail Trim Night (By Appointment)

Nail Trim Night (By Appointment)

Wednesday, October 2nd | 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Pet Supplies Plus – 4024 Elkhart Road #27 – GOshen

Nail Trim Night helps us raise funds to continue our mission of spaying and neutering cats in Elkhart County. A quick trim protects you, your pet, and your family. It can also save your sofa, curtains, and other furniture. Nail trimming is also a fast and effective alternative to declawing, which involves surgical amputation and can cause behavioral and health issues.

Cost is $10 per animal. We accept cash, credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo and CashApp.

No appointment is necessary – this is a walk-in nail trim night.

Dogs and other small animals are welcome!

Nail Trim Night is hosted by Catsnip Etc. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. ***Please note that exceptions do apply to dates***

2024 Announcements

2024 Announcements

Welcome to the New Year, 2024! And what an exciting New Year it is!

Progress has begun on the future home of Catsnip Etc.  The driveway has been cut and the building site is cleared…and we have a wonderful natural site for nature.

Please watch our Facebook for constant updates!

Dear Friends,

As Catsnip Etc. heads into its 10th year of TNR, we are excited and looking forward to a great 2024!

Please continue to donate to your local shelters, rescue groups, and TNR programs.   All of these groups can use supplies and donations… and it can all be done online!

Our #1 Goal for 2024 is to complete a building to house Catsnip Etc.

For those of you who have visited us, you know we need the space to grow!  We secured 3 acres in the fall of 2022, and started clearing the land in 2023.  Many of you donated and volunteered at our fundraisers, and you quietly helped in any way you could!

In order to accomplish this goal in 2024, we are launching our “You Had Me At Meow” Campaign.

We need help with grant writing, fundraising, or any other opportunity you can offer to reach this building goal.  Please reach out to us – we are grateful for any and all help.  A building contractor is in place and we hope to break ground in 2024. The building will be in phases and will house the TNR and adoption facilities, and our barn cat program. Please watch our Facebook and Instagram pages for details.  Additionally, our volunteers will be able to meet and work with the cats and kittens.  It will be a community place where people can socialize with kitties and maybe even take one to their fur-ever home.

Catsnip Etc. wants to thank everyone who has helped us over the years including:

The Huff Grant program, ABC Clinic, Best Friends Animal Society, Bissell Pet Foundation, the Community Cats Podcast, Community Foundation of Elkhart County, Humane Society of Elkhart County (HSEC), Pet Friendly Services of Indiana, Petco Foundation, Resale to the Rescue, Wellfield Botanic Gardens, Pet Supplies Plus, and Randall & Sons Plumbing, Inc..

Most importantly, we could not keep moving and growing without our volunteers and donors who continue to give of themselves to support our mission!

Please continue to Like and Follow us on social media including FacebookIf you have some free time and are willing to volunteer, please contact us at [email protected]!  You can support us by using our Amazon Wish List or click the donate button located in the top of the screen to financially support us.  Please help however you can, and let’s keep the ball rolling in 2024!
