Calling All Rodent Responders!
JOBS WANTED: Cats Actively Seeking Employment, Will Work for Food, Water, and Shelter!
Please let us know if you have a feline position available at your barn or business, and we will put you in contact with a barn cat looking for a great place to live and work.
- Barn cats are neutered/spayed and given appropriate shots.
- They may be timid or semi-feral.
- All they ask for is a barn, hay loft, or business to provide food, water, and shelter.
- In return, they help keep the rodents at bay (and if you’re lucky they may even bring you one – a rodent – as a gift periodically!)

We do not simply remove free-roaming cats because new cats often move into the vacant territory, continuing the cycle. Through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and Return-to-Field, cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their familiar environment—preventing new litters while allowing the population to decline naturally over time. This humane, effective approach also reduces nuisance behaviors such as fighting, spraying, and mating-related noise.
Our barn cat program is designed specifically for feral cats that cannot safely or comfortably live as traditional indoor pets. Relocation is always a last resort because cats thrive best in the territories they already know. When returning a cat to its original location is not possible, the barn program provides a safe alternative and a second chance—helping prevent otherwise unadoptable cats from being euthanized.
